Fred Olsen breadcrump Black Watch

Black Watch image As a smaller cruise ship, the Black Prince can travel to different destinations than the larger ships because it is able to enter the smaller ports of call. It also has a more intimate atmosphere in the smaller number of passengers – 421 to be exact, with a crew of 210 giving you individual attention. The cruising style is more relaxed, yet elegant. The ship was built in 1966 and retains the look and feel of a sailing ship but it has all the modern amenities you want to find on a cruise ship. With three lounges, three restaurants, a fitness center and spacious cabins, the Black Prince is truly the cruise ship of choice from the Fred Olsen line. The Black Watch is undergoing a refit as of mid-december.

Fantastic Service starstarstarstarhalf star by A. Brooks on 30/10/2009

I would say the Black Watch needs a bit of a make over and that includes the dull PA system. The food was good, the activities were good, cabins really need some work as they are small and I wanted a double bed not two singles. Its a small ship so it has great potential however theres are things that need to be improved & you can't fault the staff as they are all great.....
